Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board, A subsidiary of the Tamil Nadu Government had conducted the Examination for the Teachers Eligibility Test 2017. The TN TET for Paper 1 was conducted on 29 April while paper 2 on 30 April.
The candidates can check the TNTET Result 2017. The TRB TN TET Result for paper 1 and TET Result for paper 2 will be declared on the same day together. The TN TET 2017 Results will be uploaded on the official website oft TRB which is trb.tn.nic.in
The TET was divided into two divisions. The Paper was to select the candidates for the Class 1 to 5 while paper 2 for the Class 6 to 8.

Few words Regarding TET 2017
The Teachers Eligibility test was introduced by the State of the Haryana in First to assess the intellectual eligibility of the so-called ready to be Teacher candidates. Later other states of the India followed the same pattern adopted the TET to test the eligibility of the candidates.
In the same way, Tamil Nadu too conducted the TET previously but could not manage to hold the exam after 2012. There were rumors being spread all over in 2016 too that the Board will conduct the TET in 2016 but that ended to be a rumor only.
Suddenly in 2017, the TRB released a notification for holding the TET. The candidates who have completed the necessary teaching courses were waiting for the chance and they didn’t let the chance go.
TRB TNTET 2017 Result Declaration Date
According to the sources, more than 5 Lakh candidates had applied for the TET 2017. Now all the candidates are eagerly waiting for the TNTET Results 2017 as they will get a chance to be a teacher under government only after clearing the TET exam.
Before releasing the TNTET Result and Score, the board will go through few steps which are necessary. In First, the TRB board will prepare the provisional answer key for the screening exam. Then it will be published online and candidates will be invited to submit the objections. Instructions are available below regarding the objections and others.
The Aspirants of the TNTET exam will need to identify the incorrect answers in the Official key. If there is any incorrect answer in the TNTET Answer key, it must be submitted for the review. Once you submit the objection, the Board will take care of it and assess if the objection is valid or not.
To make your objection valid, the aspirants should submit the all documentary proofs to the board in written. All objections will be received only in written. So candidates should make sure that they are submitting the correct objections.
If one fails to produce the valid objection against an answer, the same will be included in the revised key. For that question, no one will get marks credited in the score. So, it is necessary for the candidates to submit the valid objection within the given time frame by the Board.
TN TET 2017 Result, Cut Off Score & Merit List details
The Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB) of Tamil Nadu state is govt. endorsed entity for conducting the TN TET Examination. TRB will declare the Tamil Nadu TET (TNTET) Result in 2017 soon in the expected span of time. Candidates who had applied to appear for the TN TET examination can find their Tamil Nadu TET (TNTET) result 2017 at the TRB’s official website.
The results of the TET Examination with Marks of all the candidates will be released on the website of Teachers Recruitment Board viz. http://trb.tn.nic.in after notifying about the release of results in the Press / Media.
- An eligible person who secures 60% or more in the TET Paper I examination will be considered to have passed TET Paper I. This will be the qualifying marks for the candidates of all the categories. However, relaxation of 5% marks has been provided by the government vide G.O Ms. No. 25 SE (TRB)Dept., dated 06.02.2017 for BC, BCM, MBC/DNC, SC, SCA, ST and PWD candidates.
- TET Certificate will be issued only to the candidates who have passed TNTET Paper I and paper 2.
- TET Certificate will be valid for 7 years from the date of issue of the certificate.
- TET qualification is one of the eligibility conditions for appointment. The mere holding of a TET certificate does not confer any right to appointment.

As the competition has risen comparing to the last time, the cut-off marks for TNTET Exam 2017 will also be very high. Last year, the highest mark was around 112 out of 150 marks.
